If you lived literally right down the street from the hospital, would you still pack a bag?

Always have the essentials packed. The hospital I had my twins at was only 10-15 minutes away with traffic, but it's still a pain if you have to keep sending people back and forth.

I have one packed but we live super close to the hospital so I'm trying not to overpack because I know I can have my husband run home if I need anything.

my hospital is down the road from me and I still packed one. it wasn't about saving time, it just gave me piece of mind that I wouldn't forget anything whether I went into labor during the middle of the night of whenever. because when the time comes, you seriously cant think!

I live down the street from my hospital and I still packed a bag.

1. You won't want to have to deal with it once those babies are born.
2. You'll want your husband to leave as little as possible. 
3. You don't know if you might be transferred to a didn't hospital.  (I went into preterm labor at 34 weeks and because if that they moved me to a hospital with a better NICU)

I'd rather have everything we need right there with us. That way, my husband can stay with me and the babies and enjoy our time together instead of running back and forth.

Yes.  I literally did live down the street with my first and husband was so tired and stressed he could never figure out exactly what I was talking about when I asked him to go get something.  When I sent my mom to get another outfit for baby, she didn't grab what I liked.  (He just wore it...just not what I would've picked.) Maybe I'm too much of a control freak...but definitely trying to pack EVERYTHING this time around. 😉
