Zofran & flinestone vitamin in place of prenatal?

Hello ladies, my midwife prescribed me Zofran because of my nauseousness being so bad.. Also told me to start taking a flinestone vitamin in place of my prenatal because those make me sick also.... Have you ladies taken either or? Or both? Any advice ??

I've heard of taking the Flintstones vitamin instead of prenatal, and it actually seems to help a lot of women. As far as Zofran I never took it because of some of the side effects it can have on baby. Not trying to be rude or scare you just saying I wouldn't take it. I always just ate soup and crackers when I felt sick and eventually the sickness passed.

I took Diclegis (category A drug which is supposed to be safer than zofran which I think is B - so if you have any concerns about the safety of the meds, Diclegis worked wonders for me and i took it from about week 9 up until the day my baby was born or id still get sick) - and i also switched to Flintstone vitamins but even those made me sick so i didnt take them daily. Baby was born nice and healthy a week ago! 😊

I haven't done either - but my cousin was on soften nearly her entire pregnancy, and her baby was born with birth defects - I wouldn't take it. At most, you're sick for 9 months of your life. I would deal with it, not worth the risk of harming your baby. 
Also, my cousin works for an OBGYN, they told her all the things you hear are bogus, she believed them, and it backfired. I even told her I didn't think I was a good idea (as did many of my other family members) but she didn't care... She's going to be trying again in a purple months for another baby, and said there is no way she's taking Zofran again, no matter how sick she gets....

I'm a Flintstones girl! Prenatals make me sick. But my Dr told me to take 2 Flintstones a day to get enough folic acid. I'm on pregnancy #3, they're so easy I just kept taking them even after baby came.

I'd request Diclegis instead of Zofran. I have heard scary stories about Zofran in connection with birth defects and Diclegis is made SPECIFICALLY for pregnant women. I'm taking it and it's great! I've heard wonderful reviews about these meds before I took them and my Midwife told me not to worry it's completely safe.
