1st flare up after baby
I'm not one to post often but feeling a bit down. I've had MS for almost 9 years. I'm now a mom of a beautiful 3 year old girl & a handsome little 3 month old boy. My husband & I made the decision for me to give up my teaching job & stay home after my daughter was born. My job was very stressful & I was not feeling healthy most days. I had a flare up 3 months after my daughter was born but have been relatively strong since then, with bad days here or there.
Now, almost 4 months after giving birth to my son I think today I have to call my doctor because it's time to give into my symptoms. I have no strength on my right side. I dont feel comfortable holding the baby & I needed to call my mom to come over to help with the kids this morning.
I feel defeated & really upset that my daughter may see me for the 1st time on IV. I'm feeling guilt that my mom has to watch my kids while I sit in bed. My husband is a lawyer & in the middle of a big case that he can't work around so although he's trying to be the positive one I know he's stressed & nervous. All in all just feeling down.
Sorry for the rant. I thought maybe others going through this may be able to lift my spirits because I want my daughter to see me being positive.
