I started my birth control almost a month ago. My doctor told me to take it when I started my period but I was too impatient and took it anyways.

My period comes every 3-4 months for some unknown reason, and if I told my mom that I needed to wait another 2 months for my period she would've been pissed at me. I've lied to her about my periods being regular for the past year or so because she always assumes I'm pregnant.

ANYWAYS, I have one week left of the blue pills (the ones around the outside) and then the green pills. How soon until I'm completely safe? Also, since I didn't take it on the Sunday of my period, what happens when I start my period while I'm on the blue pills?

I have the Mononessa 28 day pills
