Miscarriage and pregnancy?

I miscarried April 28th to my 20 week old baby. I bled for 2 weeks and had spitting on and off afterwards. Me and my partner started having sex again about a little 2 weeks over since the miscarriage. I haven't gotten my period yet. Is it possible to get pregnant again without getting a first period? I'm asking because I felt the other day discomfort in my ovaries just like last time I got pregnant? Any advice, inside? Has this happened to you? Thank you dolls!!
