high blood pressure

mary
I'm really not sure if I'm crazy or if i am actually being misdiagnosed for high blood pressure by my ob, at the very first visit my bp was a little high, i think about 140/85 ish and they didn't seem worried, second visit it was still reading high about 150/90 so i decided to purchase a bp monitor from a pharmacy so i could monitor it myself and the highest reading i EVER got was 130/87, checked my bp at grocery stores and it's always been in the normal range, so i go into my next appointment with my ob and my bp read 175/90 (keep in mind very stressful day) but i had checked it right before leaving and it was at about 125/80 so my ob puts me on bp medicine, i tell him ive been monitoring it at home and he has absolutely no comment to that statement, doesn't even ask if I've been getting high readings at home or not so whatever i was supposed to be taking this medicine every 8 hours, ended up taking it twice a day to start and noticed it made me feel like complete shit (horrible headaches, fatigue, dizziness, increased nausea / vomiting) kept taking my bp at home and it has fallen to 98/60 in many instances, now it's typically reading at 100/65 on average, went to my next appointment and it was 140/85, then they took it on my right arm and it was 130/85 so they seemed happier about that... I'm already most likely going to switch doctors because I'm not happy with this one but i honestly feel like their bp monitor is broken or they've been taking it with inproper technique. am i alone in this happening, has anyone else experienced similar? i feel i may just be crazy lol
