Going off of birth control..

I'm dealing with a lot of depression and anxiety meds, and I want to know what's doing what. I decided to go off hormonal birth control just to make sure that's not complicating anything. My partner and I already use condims, but I also got the sponge just to be safe. Anyone used it before? Thoughts? Tips? Any crazy side effects after going off hormonal birth control?
