I hadn't gotten my period in about 2 1/2 months. I didn't take a test because honestly I was in denial and kept hoping it would come. Last Tuesday in the middle of the day (I've never started my period in the middle of the day) I got horrible cramps and started bleeding. The blood was so dark it looked almost black and I had huge clots. The bleeding stopped after a few hours and I haven't had any cramps or bleeding since that afternoon. I've never had a period that short or with blood that dark. Does that sound like a miscarriage? Should I take a test? If it was a miscarriage do I need to go to the doctor? Someone please help me...
