Back labor?

I'm 38 weeks and I woke up with cramps, and back contractions. But then the back contractions have continued all day. I never had the back pain with my first. Hopefully it's a sign of baby coming soon. The un knowing is killing me! I see my dr Wednesday hopefully he will have good news for me! Like hey! We're gonna have us a baby!!! Lol but no sign of mucus plug but dr. Said I might not even notice that and I havnt broken my water. We are having sex 2 times the last 3 days which is a lot for us right now🙄 doggy style bc it's most comfortable. But I've read that's a good position for pregnancy.
