Desperate to travel and enjoy going out before baby comes, am I alone?

JK

Hey ladies,

I would like to start off that I feel extremely blessed and can't wait to meet our little one. However, I'm also aware (8 nieces and nephews) after the little one comes, your very much aching for time alone with your SO after a couple months even just to go out to a romantiv dinner. For my SO, this is the first grandchild on his side of the fam and he also has a very laid back attitude thinking we will be able to travel and go anywhere once the baby is born, won't change anything. He is aware I'll need to recover the 1st month after birth but then from there, he things no problem.

... Im fighting him on making sure we do like a long weekend exploring somewhere together before we have the baby. He says we are too busy but I feel we could make time and should. I've also mentioned that we need to try some new restaurants and his response is whats the rush?

Am I justified in feeling this way, anyone else going thru this with their partner?
