I'm 11w 5d today, Went for my usual docs appointment today and my ob told me about doing my blood work today and then she pitched in the progenity test...I never knew what that was, she said  Twas $99 for it and that it wasn't mandatory at all...  I was a bit skeptical about taking the test but she further made me understand benefits of taking the test like knowing the baby's sex early, knowing if the baby has any genetic defects  etc... I couldn't leave the hospital without taking my mind off the fact that I would know no peace till I take the test. Just to make sure my baby is okay, and if not (God forbids) I'd also like to know early.... So I did the test and results be out in 10 days. Hopefully everything comes out NORMAL.
