Period Help?

So, my period is supposed to end in one day. It's been 7 days but my flow hasn't really lightened up. It's been light/medium this cycle. Today I checked and the blood is dark red and there was a medium amount on my pad. It usually gets super light near the end of my period. Basically my flow is the same as its been this whole cycle and if it's supposed to end soon, why hasn't it lightened up? Help please!
