2 week long period because of birth control?

I started taking aubra two and a half weeks ago. The week I started was the week before my period was supposed to come and at first it was super light like a pink discharge almost but this past week its just been constant spotting and its been the longest period I've ever had. Just wondering if anyone has gone through the same thing bc it's been quite annoying but manageable lol
