Should I tell my ex?

I was just diagnosed with hpv. I have only ever slept with 2 guys my entire life but I'm not sure which one I could have gotten it from. I told my current about it today but I'm not sure if I should tell my ex. Should I just so he can get tested? Or will I look stupid when it comes back that he doesn't have it?

Yes you should tell him ,this is wrong to think that you wouldn't tell him .if you can not be mature about doing the right thing then maybe you shouldn't be having sex .if he has it and you don't tell him ,it can be very harmful to him if not treated .

I thought they don't test for HPV unless you have an abnormal pap. I don't know the protocol for males. I'm probably going to get hate for this, but I wouldn't tell him just because there's nothing to be done about it for him. Men are often carriers but have no idea because they have no signs no symptoms and there's no treatment for him or you for that matter. You just got to keep up with your yearly Pap smears.

It would depend on the break up for me. He he was a real a-hole, I wouldn't tell him. If he was a nice guy and we just "didn't work out," then I'd tell him.

It's very rare for men to get hpv symptoms he may even be the carrier who gave it to yu and in young folks it can go away on its own... do what you want..tell him or don't it's not a serious std or one that has a treatment.

I thought men couldn't get tested for this? I though they are only carriers! Geezer..I better read up more about this! I've always been curious about HPV.. My older sister has. At first we was scared then we come to realize more than 80% of ppl are HPV positive. But it's not affected  her in any way! Stay positive!
