Hi I'm 34 weeks 😁

The past couple of days, ive been having cramping in my stomach, and very dull lower back pain, and at first I thought it was just my body reacting to the heat (it's been in the 100's allllll week) so I didn't really think much of it. Then yesterday, I felt a HUGE decrease in movement, so me and my s/o decided to go to labor and deliver, and come to find out I've been having contractions. Witch never came to mind because the pain is tolerable. But they checked my cervix and I'm completely closer, and still thick. I'm just wondering is it normal to have contractions so early, but no dilation. I'm very nervous, because I want to make it to full term, but scared I won't since I've been having contractions.

(They tried to stop them, by giving me two big glasses of ice water, but it didn't help anything)
