Surviving Bed rest? Help!

Question

Long story short, I'm 26 weeks and was in the hospital yesterday for the second time for preterm labor. I'm now on strict Bed rest with "bathroom privileges" (what else did they expect me to do). How did or do you survive Bed rest for 10 weeks? I have a 5 year old out for the summer from school, too.

I actually went out the same day they put me on strict bed rest (coming home from the hospital) and got Sims 3 for my computer. My mom then went and got me a couple expansion packs for it...then my baby daddy at the time got me an xbox with some games 😂😂😂 i think video games saved my life when I was on bed rest

Play video games with your son. Or have coloring contests. Mybe introduce a board game. Do crafts together with him and involve your family. Maybe have your son build a fort around you.

Oh gawd. I was on bed rest when i was pregnant with my twins from 23 weeks until 34 weeks when they were born. It sucked.

Do you have anyone to help you with your son? I hope so. I had help from a few people which was tremendous since i had a 1 year old at the time.

I recommend getting some good books to read and netflix! Do you know how to crochet? It's pretty easy to learn. You could make a blanket for your baby while you're stuck in bed.

Make the best of it.. let your kid make a mess.. that's what kids do.. don't worry about picking it up either.. it's going to end up on the floor the next day.. you can watch movies.. read books... play video games, munch on snacks while you tell stories.. just relax and take care of the baby in your belly.. you will have plenty of time to be active with your 5 year old after baby comes
