OPK question

So I've been taking Fertilaid and ovaboost for about 3 months now because my periods were very irregular and I don't believe that I was ovulating. This is my first cycle using opk's and the fourth opk down ( the top is where my ring is) made it look as tho I was going to ovulate soon but when I took that opk it was only cycle day 7 for me. I'm now on cycle day 10 and all of my other ovulation tests since CD 7 have looked like the last two. Do you think I just ovulated early and missed it? Any help would be appreciated!!
