Road trips and pregnancy

So I'm 35 weeks today and my uncle just passed away earlier today from stage 4 cancer. No arrangements have been made yet but I'd like to go to the funeral in the very least to be there for support for my cousin who was there for me when i lost my dad. I live in Illinois and they are all in Georgia, i have heard it's fine to drive for road trips as long as you take frequent breaks to walk around. Is this true?
