Completed miscarriage?

How do I know if my miscarriage is completed? I was told last week that my baby had no heartbeat. I've been bleeding, light to medium, for the last two weeks. Last Tuesday my hcg level was 12300. Is there anyway to know my ordeal is over without going to the doctor?

I had to go to the dr once a week for six weeks after I miscarried to get my blood drawn. They checked to make sure my hcg levels were dropping

I think the o Ly way would be to wait till you're done bleeding. I didn't go to the doctors office after they confirmed that I was miscarring and I knew it was over once I stopped bleeding and waited till I got my period to start trying again.

You can take cheap pregnancy tests every few days until they show up negative. After that, it might only be a day or two until HCG is completely out of your system. I read somewhere that if the beginning part of your cycle has positive HCG levels for quite a few days, it could mess with your uterine lining after you ovulate. This could cause a chemical pregnancy. I'm not a doctor, so I could have understood that wrong. I'm so sorry you have to go through this.
