I passed a clot the size of my thumb and everything turned out ok. I had bleeding on and off for 18 weeks.

Something similar just happened to me. I started bleeding at 9 weeks, and passed a few pea sized clots. I called my doc twice. The first time they said to rest and drink fluids. The second time I told them about the clots and they got me in for an ultrasound. All ended up being done, but I was freaking out too - I also had a miscarriage and this is my rainbow baby.

Call your doctor and ask their advice. I had quite a bit of bleeding when I was pregnant with my first and I ended up having a polyp on my cervix. No harm done to baby at all. She is now three years old. I hope this helps!
