How many naps does your little take?

My son is now 8 months old. He naps at least 3 times a day which I think it's normal for him. My mother in law doesn't thinks it's normal for him, she tells me that he needs to nap 1-2 time a day never three.

My nine month old naps 2-3 times a day. Usually 2 about an hour each. As long as they sleep good at night what's it matter?! Who wants a cranky baby right?! They will ditch the 2nd or 3rd nap when they are ready.

I think as long and as many as he wants :)

I think it just depends on how long the naps are. As long as he sleeps good at night still and is growing fine I wouldn't worry about it. If you make them stay weak too much they get cranky
