Stripping membranes

So I had my 37weeks check up today and my doctor told me I was dilated to 1 and she wants to strip my membrane next week I'm really nervous. This is my 2nd child when I was pregnant with my son who is now 7 I was induced and that was painful I told the doctor I didn't wanna get induced this time she said this would jump start labor naturally idk if I should let her do it or not any suggestions
