Glucose test?

I'm 24 weeks today and have an appointment tomorrow. I'm trying to decide if they're going to have me do my glucose test or not. If so, is that something you have to fast for? I can't remember? Or do you think they'll have me do it at my next appointment in a month? Wouldn't they tell me I'm getting it done, or did they forget?

I was instructed to fast for 3 hours prior to the appointment. Then you drink the glucose water and sit for one hour, after which they draw your blood.

They usually do them at your 28 week appointment. They will talk to you about it before hand. Every doctor is different in what they expect as far as fasting/not fasting and when they want you to come in.

They told me to get it done before my 28 week appointment and gave me the papers for it to go to the lab.

They tell you before the appointment because I think they tell you not to eat anything after midnight and to go like really early for the test and not to eat anything not even chew gum before the appointment. At least that is what happened for me but that was 4 years ago.

I didn't have to fast for my one hour test. I had scrambled eggs, avocado, and tomato for breakfast and then drank the drink an hour and a half later. Passing score was 140 and I passed with a 96.
