Any sonographers hang out in her for fun? Just wanting to get some opinions on what this is? I had a feeling I was having twins but the sonographer said there is only one. Afterwards I looked at the pictures and couldn't help but wonder what this was. Helpful info: I was 6weeks and 1 day and this was an abdo u/s, she didn't do transvaginal for some reason

My first ultrasound looked similar, the doctor was almost sure I was having twins!!!!! Luckily for me she ended up saying it was my placenta forming.

I had the same thing, at 8 weeks when I had my first scan. I ovulated twice that month (they looked at my ovaries and saw 2 spots) and saw 1 baby but I had 2 sacs. My body absorbed the other baby, but left the sac behind.

I have my NT scan next wk and I'm paying for it this time so hoping for a better look and some answers!

It was a shame, they're usually good. I have a feeling it's because my doctor request it be a free scan (Australian medical system) I've paid every other time and they were much longer and did vaginal scan too and explained much more
I had something similar and it was a bleed. Absorbed itself over time and went away. (Ps im not a professional)

The doctor told me to expect some bleeding and gave me duphaston to support the pregnancy. But i didnt bleed and everything sorted itself out quickly though i was advised to take it easy.

Did you have any spotting or was it just trapped residual implantation bleeding?
