Why is she like that?

Is it bad ? everytime my girlfriend cooks and I compliment her on her cooking, she stays quiet or just changes the subject. Whats up with that?

She may think she's a bad cook. I know I don't cook very well and my husband always compliments my cooking and I just roll my eyes because I think he really doesn't like it and is just saying that to be nice.

Whenever somebody tells me my meal is good I normally talk about the bad instead of just accepting it and saying thank you I normally say something like oh well it came out of a box or sorry it's my first time cooking this meal. It's like I didn't even take in what they said. Like some of the other girls said she just might not be used to accepting compliments.

She's just not use to be complimented. I was like that. Kinda don't believe it or know how to take em. For me I usually make some joke now, like if he tells me I looks nice or dinner was great. It is what it is
