Share an induction story??

I'm a ftm and I will be getting induced Monday at 39weeks. I'm so excited but I wanna know what to look forward to. It's ok to share good and bad stories🙂

I was induced at 41w on June 1 at 2cm dilated, 50% effaced. I started with a low dose of pitocin at 7am, and they increased my dose every hour. They broke my water at 8am - which feels like you're peeing yourself all day. By 10:30 my contractions were intense enough that I requested an epidural and catheter. After that my blood pressure dropped, but quickly corrected itself. By mid-afternoon, my baby was having a bad reaction to the pitocin and I was only at 5cm. The doc took me off the pitocin and let nature run its course. By 5pm, I started shaking and chattering my teeth uncontrollably. Initially they thought I was transitioning, but after several hours I wouldn't budge past 7cm and they determined I developed an infection in my uterine lining, which can be serious for mom and baby. Infections can occur when you need to have your water broken for you. After 14 hours of labor - and severe flu-like symptoms and shaking uncontrollably - I consented to an emergency c-section. My case is unique, and I don't mean to scare you. The good news is at the end of the day, baby and I were both happy and healthy.

I guess mine seems like best case scenario. I was induced with baby 1 and 2. Baby 1 was 8 hours of labor 30 minutes of pushing. I went in at 100% effaced and 3cm dilated. They broke my water and my labor went on its own without oxytocin got an epidural later at 5cm. 
Baby 2 was two hour labor with two pushes. Went in same thing broke my water, got my epidural and by the time my epidural took pain away I was 10cm and he was +1 as in coming out!!.

Baby #1 2013 water broke on it owns but I wasn't progressing. They induced me but it only slowed it down. My labor was 36 hrs, 2 1/2 hrs of pushing with no meds or epi.

Baby #2 2016 induced at 39.2 weeks labor for 9 hrs total 20 min of pushing with epidural. Best experience

Well I'm currently in the process (9.5cms) but it's been a great experience so far. (Obviously haven't done the pushing part he, which I'm nervous for). Epidural was seriously a lifesaver, I've just been napping and playing music since I got it

Baby #1 I was induced on 10/09/2003, already a week and half late putting me at 41 weeks 4 days with my first son. They started with the little cervical pill to soften my cervix (can't remember the name if it lol), kept me on IV fluids the entire time of course. I went through 3 of those pills and eventually the doc broke my water because I wasn't progressing. Contractions picked up, but weren't enough to really dilate me. After 21 hours I was dilated to a 3, not even close to completely effaced, and my OB said something was wrong. Hooked up the internal heart monitor to my son, realized his heart rate was dropping horribly and sent me wheeling to the OR. Emergency C Section for Jace Andrew born 10/10/2003 at 3:38 PM. Cord was around his neck twice. My other babies were all scheduled C Sections no complications.
