Is it rude to tell your boyfriend no because you dad is off?

My dad has 2 days of the week and he works long hours so I usually hang out with him on his days off. Sunday especially. I haven't seen my boyfriend in a while and his next day off is Sunday but I spend Sunday's with my dad. Is it rude to tell him no and put my boyfriend off a little longer? (I'm home for the summer usually away at college)

Your dad is always going to be there. Your boyfriend may not. Your dad was there your whole life(I'm assuming) your boyfriend wasn't. I plan on speding the rest of my life with my boyfriend, I live with him now I have so much time I could spend with him. But not my dad. Definitely choose your dad. My boyfriend is the love of my life, but my daddy is my number one man!

Depends how long since you last seen your boyfriend? If you spend EVERY weekend with your sad surely one day with your boyfriend won't hurt? If you keep putting off seeing him he might not wait around forever... Your relationship with your dad is important but so is your actual relationship? If its only one day what's the problem?
