A Confession Letter From A First Time Mom To Be..

I struggled to get pregnant. I told myself I was going to be "the best" pregnant mom out there... I would eat healthy. I would exercise. Fast food? Absolutely not. Coffee? Soda? Forget it. I was going to be organic. Anything for my little baby.

I did all of these things after I found out I was expecting and more. Then...morning/all day sickness came. Tiredness came. Moodiness came. Food aversions came. Puking came. So...what did I do? I ate whatever suited me. I napped instead of exercised. I forgot my prenatal here and there and then...

The guilt sunk in. I'd think to myself...how could I? After all I have been through to have this and I'm screwing it up!

Truth is...

Baby is healthy even though I'm not perfect. Dear moms-to-be....it is going to be okay! You're enough! Surviving pregnancy is so much more difficult than one may think...and it's okay to not be perfect! No longer beat yourself up..instead, smile...you're gonna be fine!
