Does anyone else feel guilty for having a baby?

Am I the only one who feels this way?  We have a 21 month old beautiful son and I always wanted him to have a sibling, but I feel so guilty for having another when we don't really have enough money for another child.

My mom always told me you'll figure it out and make it work ❤️ I'm sure everything will be fine and once that baby is in your arms you'll feel better xx

Kids will pick up on your feelings... Think positive thoughts and talk to you older child about the baby and their new role as a big brother or sister. Finances will work their way around. Somehow things just work out.

I feel super guilty! I have a 4yr old and just thinking about him not being the only child anymore breaks my heart

I don't think you should feel guilty for being pregnant. I had a Miscarrage last May and had two other friends prego at the same time and a friend a month latter get pregnant... I was jealous but realized I was happy for them and let them know that... I kept trying and now I'm 18 weeks and a day prego... I wouldn't want any friend or anyone to experience a miscarriage and am happy to see others have successful pregnancies since it gave me hope for my chance to experience a successful pregnancy too.

I definitely feel a bit guilty but not because I have another child, but because my sister has been trying for 3-4 years to have another baby (her first... And only is 5 now). She has done everything possible (multiple times) to try to get pregnant and has had a couple miscarriage. My husband and I got pregnant on our honeymoon and I know my sister is happy for us but I feel so bad because I know how bad she (and her husband) want another kid.

I tried got YEARS a to give my son a sibling.   Now that we are finally pregnant, I feel so guilty he will have to share us with he soon to be brother AND sister!   😩.  Don't get me wrong, I feel so blessed to finally be pregnant but I worry he'll resent us or the new babies!!!!
