Air travel during pregnancy? Is it safe?

Hi everyone!

Just need some advise, tips, recommendation and suggestion from you if - what month/ weeks of pregnancy is safe for air travel? 
- is the baby will affect on the high pressure of the airplane? 
- What are some tips to do while on board?
- dos and donts while on travel and on board
- safe tips for mommy and baby?

I just traveled at 20 weeks and again at 23 weeks.  Perfectly fine.  I suggest asking for a bulkhead seat so you have more leg room to stretch.

I'm flying internationally at 27 weeks and 30 weeks for our babymoon in Ireland, Scotland and London. It's perfectly safe as long as you're not high risk and your doctor or midwife has okayed it. Just make sure to get an aisle seat and get up and walk around several times. My midwife also recommended I wear control hose for my legs to keep blood from pooling in my feet/legs causing swelling, etc. Good luck!

I flew from the UK to Asia (18 hours) in the first trimester then took 5 internal flights travelling around 4 countries and was absolutely fine. Am planning on going to France at 23 weeks too. For me it's no different to flying not pregnant so nothing to worry about, but depending how far along you are you may need a fit to fly document from the doctor

It's fine if you have a normal pregnancy. I flew from London to New York at 5 weeks. Just flew from London to South Korea for a holiday now at 7 weeks. The only thing is that I have bad sickness and the travel/time difference has made it worse. But no it will not affect the baby. 🙂 Drink lots of fluids and keep moving to ensure your blood is circulating.

I've been traveling since 13w
I recommend getting aisle seat and every hr get up and walk and when sitting rotate your ankles to get circulation. And so you don't risk getting blood clots.
