Advice needed

There is this guy I like and he like se me too... We are in the same friendship group. His ex I in my classes and I'm friends with her (they had a REALLY bad breakup). I'm not sure if he is a snake or not, but he treats me really well when we are alone and with people, he's not the best txter or snap chatter, so I don't know if he's actually really into me or not. Each party we go to w are both there and usually ends up sleeping with each other (just cuddling an the odd kiss)... He said to me the other night when we were at a party, my feelings have always been set straight, I like you and always have... Because I asked, "what are your feelings".....BUT... All my friends are against us getting together because they think he's a snake... My best friend is really against it and really expresses it towards him. I don't know what to do because it's so complicated!! ANY ADVIDE would be really appreciated!
