Should we take the $10,000?

My husband and I are buying our first home. We have a more than enough for a deposit, but his parents asked if we wanted them to add on 10k. My husband said no right away, but his parents are really well off. Maybe he just doesn't want his parents helping us out.anyway his parents said the money is there if we ever need it. Think we should take at some point?
