Losing an ovary is making me lose my mind.Has anyone conceived with only one ovary?

I recently discovered that I have a watermelon size cyst on one of my ovaries. (And by discovered I mean my doctors finally listened to me and decided to do an ultrasound) my doctor informed me that when I have surgery to remove my cyst they will also remove the ovary it's attached to as well as the Fallopian tube. I know that many people still concive with one ovary but it's a bit more complicated than that. My periods have never been normal and my husband only has one testicle. I feel like our chances of getting pregnant have been literally cut in half. All I've ever wanted is to create life with my soulmate. We've been trying for a year and no luck, I hope that our luck will change post op . If anyone has a similar experience please share. I need a lot of baby dust!
