Problems down there

I have like a weird bit of flesh on my vagina, I've read it might be some kind of cyst but I'm nervous about seeing a doctor whilst also feeling self conscious whilst having sex in case a guy notices (I haven't let a guy go down me since I noticed it a year ago). Has this happened to anyone else?
