Implantation bleeding or AF?

So I was upset because I started my period this morning. Or I thought so at first. But I'm 8  dpo and my period wasn't due for over a week. Bleeding is light, but it usually is at beginning of AF for me anyways. So now I'm unsure. I had bleeding with my first child around 5 weeks but it was mostly brown. The doctor said I was shedding old blood.  This is more pink and some bright red & a little heavier.
