So I will need a large vertical incision due to needing a 2nd surgery immediately after my csection (back to back surgeries). I've had 2 other csections, both with low horizontal incisions (typical csection). Has anyone had a large vertical incision? I'm wondering how much different the recovery will be and what the time frame for them getting you up. I've already been told I will be in the hospital 3-5 days, and I'm guessing it'll be closer to 5 since I'm having a partial hysterectomy. I got a c-panty then realized it was a waste of money. Any suggestions for recovery would be helpful. I've had laparoscopic surgery for gall bladder removal and csections...but never an incision this large. I'll ask my doc obviously, but thought maybe you ladies would have some advice.
