Gentle c section?

Has anyone had this done? What was your experience? I'm going to have a c section because last year I had fibroids removed. My uterus could rupture if I deliver vaginally. A gentle c section gives you the chance to see your baby being born. Please share your experiences and any advice!

What is a gentle c-section?  I've never heard of it.

I had one. It was great. I mean still surgery but so much more a birth.  I was able to hold and nurse my son on the table . It made such a difference.

I got to hold my son the moment he was out, and held him while they sewn me up. It was amazing. They did not call it a "gentle birth" though. They didn't really have a name for it. I'm I'm a different state and hospital this time around, I asked if they did it and unfortunately they don't 😣 not all hospitals participate.

How do you get this option? I didn't get to see anything and didn't get to be the first to hold my son. I'll be having a repeat cesarean with this bean in December...

I had an emergency c sec and was able to see baby right away but not hold her untill I was in my room almost two hours later :(

I have 2 c section and I didn't get the chance to hold them or even see them into I got into my postpartum room
