Crib bedding pricing?

What did you all spend on your crib bedding sets? I'm looking at bedding sets and I just wanted to see what most people average spending.

I was freaking out over a bedding set but ended up buying a bunch of fitted sheets. My MIL and my SO's uncle made quilts for us so we will just be using those instead. And i threw everything else together on my own

Personally, I would find a theme or group of colors that you like and just buy fitted sheets. You'll find yourself changing them so damn often, and you won't even care about the bed set being all the same. You'll probably end up with a bunch of blankets from your baby shower or as gifts too. By the time you're done, you will have all kinds of mismatched stuff. I didn't do a crib bumper, and won't until baby starts putting his arms/legs through the slits. Walmart has crib sheets in a 2 pack for like $12.00. I'd say keep Atleast 4-5 on hand at all times. Good luck!

We don't do full sets. Just crib sheets and a skirt. Muuuuch cheaper. Bumpers aren't considered safe anymore so we personally don't use them, and you can't use a quilt in bed with a baby, so it's pretty much just decoration. Once our son turned 3 we got him a full toddler set that he got to pick out himself and loves!

We spent $48 on 2 crib sheets for this one, using the skirt from our first baby.. I don't remember how much it was, but it's plain white from Amazon!

I actually didn't do a set for any of my 3 babies. My oldest son is 4 and still doesn't use a quilt or heavy blanket, just a small toddler blanket, and only used a breathable bumper for safety reasons. So like half the set would not be used. I actually just found a set I liked and just bought the decorations individually, then matched individual crib sheets with the decorations. For example I like the pink elephant sweet Jojo set. I bought the matching lamp, throw pillow and pictures, then bought the sheet separately and a few extra sheets with coordinating colors. White breathable bumper. Done. :)

There was a gorgeous pink and gray set I wanted from Carousel for $300-ish. But I just couldn't justify spending that much for bedding that is going to get (literally) shit on.

My mother (bless her) has bought me three crib sets from her local thrift store-great condition, and cute sets at that- and spent roughly $5-10 on each. 
But if I were buying new, I'd spend about $75-100, I guess.

I got the bedding set for my shower gift for my first. For my second I've decided just to buy what we would need. Which is basically a few blankets because I got so many crib sheets for my first.
