Why she want a boy ?! am pregnant!

So i am finally pregnant with my first baby... 😍 but my husbands grandma said she hopes so much its a boy!!! ... whats wrong with girls? i do not understand ????

This is very normal that people think boys are better than "girls " can someone explain?

i just want a healthy baby... i do not want to know the gender yet but i think its a boy because before i knew i was pregnant i dreamed that i had a baby boy and this is not the first time...

Some people feel that boys will be easier to raise and protect. Like with a girl they are often scare of making the mistake of trusting her with the wrong person or raising her wrong. Also they may feel that if you have son then a daughter you will have someone to protect your daughter.

For a lot of people, it's about carrying on the family name. My son is a Big Deal to his Thai family, because he's the only boy in his generation, and they know the family name will continue.
