What to eat at hospital?

Need some ideas on what to bring to eat  to the hospital with me. I don't eat hospital food and my husband won't be able to bring food as often as I would like. What was your food solution for your stay?

My plan is to stock up on soy and almond milk boxes, granola bars, fruit cups/applesauce and probably make some pb and j sandwhiches. I'm worried about the staff not understanding what vegan means... Like if they give me something that *looks* vegetarian/vegan but is actually made with beef broth or something

Great question!  I'm worried about this too.  My mother will be around during my labor & delivery so we will be asking her to bring us some meals from your fave restaurants.  My husband will bring some cereal, nutrition bars & go to a nearby juice bar for smoothies. I'm so nervous about the hospital food-the options are so unhealthy.  You would think in a hospital would be where you can find the most nutritious, organic food available but that is not the case.
