Requirements for adoption

Hi ok alittle background. Im 42 single got my own place not working at the moment. I share with a sibling. Healthwise im ok other than have got pcos from the age of 18 been trying to have children of my own for years was with my ex hubby for 17+years. Tryed to have other relationships. Since but they never work out to me you dont need to be in a relationship to be a living careing parent to a child one person can have as much love as 2" people. Point to my point is does anyone now the requirements for single people to adopt
