Im 11 weeks 4 days (rainbow baby) and im not planning to annouce this pregnancy until pass 1st trimester.

I met an old friend today, asking am i pregnant? I tried to change the subject and it changed. Now she texting me kept asking how far along am i on my pregnany.

If you were me, what will be ur answer?

Anyway i dont think i look that big yet.

This is something I have no problem lying about to be honest. They shouldn't be asking a question like that anyway. You'll announce when you're ready.

A coworker was snooping into why I was going to the doctor twice within a few weeks. I straight lied to her face and told her I had ear infections. Its not her business. Lie to her.

Reply to her "what pregnancy?" And ignore any other questions. If you diverted her question from the beginning not sure why she keeps probing. Super annoying.

I feel like it's really rude to ask at all...I've had people ask me "when are you going to have another one??" And I just straight up say, "actually I've had two really difficult miscarriages in the last year." Hoping to shut them up and possibly prevent them from being so insensitive to someone else who might also be in a painful situation. If I was you, I would simply text back, "I'm sorry I didn't respond earlier. It's a difficult question for me since my miscarriage." And leave it at that..

When people I didn't want to know asked me I would just say no, not yet. And then later I just explained that it was too early to tell them and they all understood. But all my friends and family knew from the beginning because they knew I had an IUI done.

id lie and i regret not lying. my stupid snoopy baby-obsessed cousin in law pried and pried til i admitted it and i wish i wasnt so conscious driven that i couldve just made something up. at the time, i was only 6 weeks along and i was really afraid of miscarrying because both my mom and sister did and i really didn't want to announce it to anybody until i hit 12 weeks. well, that plan failed. it was especially irritating because my husband is deployed right now and i told him id wait to tell other people and it didnt work out that way. so lie and dont let people twist your arm like i did when it's none of their business.

You can tell her whatever you'd like. My best friend from high school knew right away and I hadn't really told anyone (weird right) as well as my family and I was only about 6 weeks. If you are waiting but feel comfortable telling her just tell her your waiting to announce until your further along.
