No Prenatal vitamins?

Question

Okay ladies so when I was two months, I had to stop taking Prenatal vitamins due to morning sickness and such. Has there been anyone else who had to stop taking them in the past experience or who's never taken them at all with their pregnancy and had a healthy baby? I desperately need answers because I'm worried my baby won't be healthy? I'm a first time mother by the way.

I never ended Up taking them for my first or my second because of extreme morning sickness almost whole way through. My 2 year old is such a little smartie and waiting to see what this next baby is like.

From what I've read, the prenatals help mommy. Baby is going to take whatever he or she needs from you. I'm sure your baby will be ok, as years ago prenatals didn't exist. But have you tried the gummies? I take the first response gummy prenatals and never get sick. I have ibs and a very sensitive tummy. The regular ones with iron bothered me a lot. Once I switched, my prenancy became a whole lot easier.

Your baby takes everything it needs from you. The prenatals after about 12 weeks are for you, not baby. As long as you try to eat a balanced diet you'll be fine and so will baby. I haven't taken any since about 14-16 weeks and my boy is perfect at 29 weeks now.

Yea I didn't take them with last pregnancy and my current due to HG sickness. Now I just drink boost protein shakes.

I stopped taking them because I just forgot all the time lol. I know plenty of women who never took them & have healthy babies. Unless you have a deficiency it's not totally required to have a healthy baby. Just my opinion though. 😉

The synthetic versions will make you sick every time. However, if you go to a Heath food store, ask for food based prenatals. I like New Chapter. I can't even take a regular multivitamin without hurling, but I can take these any time of the day, with or without food and I never get sick. My midwife turned me on to this little trick. I never miss a day now!

I had to stop because they were to big and making me gag every time I took one. That's was with my first child and she is happy and healthy. I just ate food to make up for the nutrients I was missing from taking the vitamins. My second Lil lamb I started taking gummie prenatal vitamins and they work just the same.

I have taken them with all of my pregnancies. Doctors actually recommend that you take them up to 3 months before pregnancy (while youre trying to conceive) try taking them at night. Thats what I do.
