Fathers day rant....😑😑😑

I just came here to let off some steam....

Sooo. I have a 7 year old son. He hasn't seen or heard from his dad since he was 2 (in and out of jail) and when he's out of jail we still don't hear from him. He recently got out of jail and called about a month ago. Him and his mom came to get my son. My son goes over his mothers a lot. Haven't heard from him since that day. Well of course today is fathers day and I said to myself all day that I was not gonna wish someone who has done NOTHING a happy fathers day. .. Then he calls asking to speak to my son and I let him. He said they were having a big cookout and he wanted to pick him up. At first I said NO because I felt like he didn't deserve to have him on father's day!! My son really wanted to go, so I said sure, why not. He told me to get him ready that he was gonna pick him up. Then I started feeling bad, so I texted him happy fathers day! And u know what? It felt good to tell him that! So I get my son ready and behold!! He NEVER shows up.... 😞
