Painting the nursery yourself?

I have read mixed information about being around paint fumes while pregnant. What do you guys think of this?

I've read that it's fine if it's a well ventilated space. Paint is formulated differently now than it used to be. That said, I hate painting and fully intend to let my husband take care of that end of baby prep, lol.

I am wearing a filtered paint/dust mask. I am painting the room myself. I cannot smell a single fume wearing that mask. Once I remove it, then i can smell it.

I'm not risking anything. I'm having someone else do the painting.

Make sure Windows and doors are open and wear a mask over your mouth and nose. You should be fine..
