Home birth stories please!

I'm 16 weeks now, my midwife just informed me she is moving to a different office and will only be doing home births. Definitely not something I thought about doing for my first birth so of course I'm stressed out. I'm not against the idea, I'm just unsure. My main concern is what if something happens? I know they are trained and home births are just as safe as hospital, it's just a little unsettling to think I'll be at my house instead of a hospital.

Any mommas have a home birth? Any pros or cons? Anyone wish they did or didn't have a home birth? Any input would be great!
