When did your doctor check to see if you dilated?

I have my appointment for strep b test next week I will be 35+4 will they check then?

I got both my GBS test and my first cervix check when I was 36 weeks.

Checked today at 36w2d and she said I will be checked every week from here on out.

My OB will check me for the first time, I will be 38+1, but I got checked in L+D when I went in with really bad contractions.

She offered to check at my GBS test at 36+3. I've had two more appts since then and they haven't checked at either- I asked once but different dr and she said no and didn't bother asking at today's appt. Guess it differs by dr whether they'll check  ince checking can cause more harm than good and it doesn't actually predict when labor will start. I'm hoping I can at least get them to check at my 39 weeks appt though just to see if I've progressed since week 36!

We had our check at 37 weeks since that happen to be our appt. Before that we were 33 weeks and that was too early.
