I have a hopeless crush

So I have a crush on a guy we click have a bunch in common and we both like each other but here the issue he live an hour away and our schedule clash I'm a college student he in the air force but we can never meet up and he said that we can't date until I come closer ( I'm moving there in 4 years) but I have no idea what to do with my feelings for him and we do hang out sometimes and I know it doesn't help that me and him have slept together more than once but he said he wants to keep hanging out until I get closer and I had no idea I had feelings for him until after it was over I don't want to put my dating life on hold because of a guy we talk everyday and I go to talk to him about everything and he understands me in ways no one else does I just honestly want these feelings to go away
