Any tips of how to get a better chance to get pregnant ?

Hi I was wondering what could be the cause of not getting pregnant my husband and I been trying to form a family for the past year and haven't been able too any advice would help thanks 😊 I get my period every month different but around the 10-15 but I guess I could say am late as right now but don't feel any symptoms don't want to take a pregnancy test because my husband donesnt want to bring his hopes up neither of i😞
