Sleeping with a friend?

I have been friends with this girl since I was like 8, she came over this weekend and we drank and stuff and she revealed to me that she was gay. I had no idea, we ended up sleeping together... And I have a Bf and he was fine with it.... I was just so thrown off and am still in shock that it happened. I was just wondering if anyone else has done something similar?
